When the sun rises, Yang is abundant and when night falls, Yin predominates. Insomnia is a result of disruption to the Yin-Yang cycle. Massage each acupoint 2-3x a day for 3-5mins. For effective results, massage 1-2hrs before bedtime! Bai Hui is on top of the head, at the midpoint of an imaginary line between the tips of the ears. This point relieves anxiety and improves quality of sleep. Shen Men is below the base of the smallest finger, on the wrist crease. These points promote sleep, and relieve insomnia caused by overexcitement, emotional issues and anxiety. Nei Guan is on the inner side of the forearm, 3-finger widths below the wrist crease and in-between the two tendons. These points relieve insomnia, anxiety, indigestion and palpitations.
